No Smoking at Birch Ridge

Birch Ridge is a non-smoking inn. Vermont's Clean Indoor Air Act bans smoking (the brown and the green kind) in indoor "places of public access". Specifically, smoking is prohibited in restaurants, bars, and all areas of inns including lobbies, guest rooms, hallways, and restrooms.

At Birch Ridge, smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms and public areas including the restaurant, great room and sitting areas.

Mary and Bill realize that some people who stay at the Birch Ridge Inn choose smoking as part of their lifestyle. For smokers who choose to stay at Birch Ridge, an ash can is provided, outside the building, next to a bench by the front door.

Smoking inside any of the rooms or public spaces of the Birch Ridge Inn is not permitted. Guests violating this policy will be asked to settle their bill, immediately leave, and pay for any damages or extra cleaning caused by their smoking.
